Really lovely dog friendly place! We had a very warm welcome, beautiful clean comfortable room with excellent tea and coffee selection and kettle. Lovely ensuite too. The veggie breakfast was delicious and everyone so helpful and friendly. Will definitely return!
We arrived late in the evening for a Christmas party so we were unable to see what a beautiful establishment peel hey is. We got to our room which was very clean and well lit. The staff was excellent. As the party started the staff made sure everyone was seated. The kitchen staff had their hands full but managed to pump out the food for the 40 plus people in the room. Had an amazing sleep on the comfortable bed. And the breakfast was smashing.
Beautiful house, very friendly owner and friendly helpful staff. We had twin room (5 stars) great size, comfort and decor. Still getting up and going again following covid shut down, so no evening meal but suggestions given for good places to try. Amazing full English breakfast. Would stay again.
Called in for a breakfast before a Christmas work do; 4 gents in mid/ late 40s. Staff gave a warm welcome from the beginning, and it’s a charming venue. We were seated in the conservatory overlooking the gardens, and we appeared to be the only guests eating at that point. The full English was good and at a fair price, with a generous amount of coffee and toast provided. Would return.
Ok, nice breakfast, though we didn't realise they weren't doing evening meals, best check. 1 pub in reasonable walking distance, other not to far if you like a walk, our room in the loft was a bit to cramped one side of the bed, friendly staff, cheers
Lovely, friendly venue for a group or individuals. I was invited to a birthday celebration and the staff were not fazed by my inconsiderately late request for a vegan version of afternoon tea. The food, staff and surroundings were all just right.
Had a lovely wake at the Peel Hey Hotel as it was one of my Nan's favourite place for afternoon tea. The food was excellent: the homemade scones were top notch. Also the staff were very kind and attentive. We couldn't have asked for a better send off.
Came to do a wedding shoot for a friend's renewal of vows. Lovely location, comfortable rooms nice decor. The ceremony took place in the dinning room with a celebrant and well laid out. After the ceremony the party moved to a marquee where there was a meal which buffet style. The food was sumptuous, lots of it and nothing was to much trouble. Later there was a disco and the party went on into the evening. A great night was had by all.
